Welcome to MONTI.K
Preparing Children for a Future Beyond the Fourth Industrial Revolution
We are living in an era of rapid transformation, where emerging technologies are deeply integrated into our daily lives. At the same time, the global influence of Korean culture—led by K-Pop—continues to expand into areas like K-Beauty and K-Food, reshaping the global landscape.
Amid these sweeping changes, we must ask ourselves:
"What kind of education do our children need in this pivotal time?"
Many parents, caught up in their busy lives, often miss the crucial developmental window in early childhood. Without a clear educational vision, it’s easy to lose sight of the most critical golden time in a child’s growth.
Over the past 17 years, I have worked as a teacher and director at private and English kindergartens in Korea, as well as at Montessori schools in the United States.
Through these experiences, I have closely observed children's development and deeply understood the distinct characteristics of each educational system.
Now, as a parent raising my 7-year-old daughter in the U.S., I can personally relate to the questions and concerns many parents face during the early years of parenting.
Drawing on these experiences, I founded MONTI.K in Irvine, California.
MONTI.K is a new type of early childhood institution, born from years of collaboration between Korean early childhood education experts and U.S.-based Montessori educators.
Care beyond caregiving.
At MONTI.K, we are committed to creating a dual-language growth environment where children naturally immerse themselves in Korean, while benefiting from a thoughtfully reconstructed curriculum based on Montessori philosophy and Korea’s Nuri Curriculum. We go beyond simple childcare—nurturing each child's potential, language, emotional development, and cultural identity.
Our mission at MONTI.K is to build a strong foundation that empowers children to realize their full potential, develop true self-confidence, and grow into compassionate global citizens. We provide an environment where children are encouraged to explore, experiment, and learn through both successes and failures.
Beyond merely transferring knowledge, we focus on cultivating each child's ability to solve problems, express their individuality, and engage meaningfully with the world around them.
Because the future begins with today’s education,
We believe that the experiences children gain at MONTI.K will serve as a powerful stepping stone toward a brighter future. We are fully committed to doing our best—for the bright, limitless tomorrow of every child.
