Thank you for choosing MONTI.K. By accessing our website or enrolling in our programs, you agree to the following terms and policies. These terms are designed to promote a respectful, safe, and productive experience for all families and staff.
1. General Agreement & Enrollment
Parents and guardians must comply with all school policies and admissions procedures.
Media Release: By enrolling, you authorize MONTI.K to use your child’s image, voice, or creative work in promotional materials. You may opt out by providing written notice.
Re-enrollment is required each school year and is subject to updated terms and fees.
Parents agree to maintain positive, respectful communication with staff. MONTI.K reserves the right to withdraw a student if parent behavior disrupts the school environment.
Children must be signed in and out each day. Only individuals listed on the authorized pickup form may pick up a child.
2. Tuition, Payments & Financial Policies
Tuition and fees are outlined in the Application for Admission and Fee Schedule.
Tuition is billed monthly via ACH on the 1st. Non-ACH payments incur a $40 processing fee. Credit cards are not accepted.
Returned payments or NSF (non-sufficient funds) will incur a $45 fee. After 3 failed payments, only certified payment methods will be accepted.
Parents remain financially responsible even if a third party (e.g. employer) fails to pay.
MONTI.K offers:
5% monthly tuition discount for students enrolled for 2+ years (Age 4 Preschool & After Class)
5% sibling discount for concurrent enrollment
Tuition includes lunch, snacks, supplies, curriculum materials, and bedding.
Annual registration, material, book rental, and field trip fees are billed separately and are non-refundable.
Tuition is non-refundable and will not be reduced due to illness, vacation, holidays, dismissal, or absence.
Written withdrawal notice must be submitted by the 20th of the month to avoid charges for the following month. Late notices incur an additional month’s tuition.
Unpaid balances may result in exclusion from school activities and will be subject to collection procedures, including legal fees.
3. Attendance, Schedule & Care Options
Tuition secures a student’s space throughout the academic year, including holidays and closures.
No credit or refund will be given for school closures, illness, or family absences.
Extended care is available with separate registration and fees.
Repeated late pick-ups or early drop-offs may result in additional charges and/or discontinuation of services.
4. Health, Illness & Safety
Children showing signs of illness may not attend school. If a child becomes ill during the day, parents must promptly pick them up.
Students must be symptom-free for 24 hours without medication before returning. A doctor’s note may be required for contagious illnesses.
In medical emergencies, the school is authorized to seek emergency care if parents cannot be reached.
MONTI.K is a nut-free environment. Parents must disclose any allergies or medical needs. Emergency medication (e.g. EpiPen) must be provided.
Regular handwashing is required.
Toys, materials, and surfaces are sanitized regularly with child-safe products.
Safety drills are conducted, and the school facility remains secure during operating hours.
5. Technology & Digital Use
The school may use online tools or platforms for learning or communication.
By enrolling, parents consent to limited information being shared with trusted service providers.
Students may access the internet under supervision. While safety measures are taken, parents acknowledge that online risks cannot be fully eliminated.
Additional consent may be required for internet or media usage.
6. Student Conduct & Dismissal
Students and parents must follow the rules outlined in the Parent Handbook and school policies.
MONTI.K reserves the right to discipline or dismiss any student for behavioral, academic, or policy-related reasons.
If the school determines that it cannot meet a student’s needs, the school reserves the right to terminate enrollment.
7. Legal Terms
Parents acknowledge that some risk is inherent in all school activities and release MONTI.K from liability, except in cases of gross negligence.
In cases of natural disaster, pandemic, or other force majeure events, tuition remains due, and instruction may shift to remote learning.
Student records remain the property of MONTI.K and will not be released until all financial obligations are met, unless required by law.
